Suggest Treatment For Painful, Swollen And Red Elbow

Hi, I woke up the other day and my elbow was swollen and red (like it was full of blood). It was painful to the touch but did not itch. Now (after two days), there is no pain but the swelling has expanded. It happened overnight and I do not know what caused this. Do you have any idea what is wrong with me?
