hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, you have infection due to insect bite.
my treatment advise would be:
1. take a course of antibiotics preferably of cephalosporin group if you are not allergic to it for 5 days.
2. you can continue taking pain killer, tab ibuprofen thrice a day.
3. you need to apply topical antibiotic cream like fusiderm or mupirocin Cream twice a day.
4. take levocetrizine once a day, if itching is present.
it will take at least 5 days to heal.
if it increases or becomes more painful, visit a doctor nearby.
wishing you good health.
thank you.
