Suggest Treatment For Painful Toe

Hi, i had broken my big toe on my right foot 2 weeks ago and i still cant put weight on it and is painful to walk on, i work in a heavy industry and i am constantly on my feet and carrying tools etc, how long should i rest it for and when should i go back to work. ??? Jonathan
