My 11 year old daughter has a locking finger. It is the ring finger. It locks in a half bent position. she can t get it to open all the way - it is painful. It is not painful to close it all the way. She says, to fix it, she closes her fist as hard as she can, and then, usually her finger can open all the way. but today, it is not working
Hello dear Understand your concern. Consult the orthopedics for exact diagnosis and treatment.
Trigger finger is cause by inflammation of synovial joint of finger. Excessive use and disturbance in flexor and ex tensor compartment of finger produce it.
Advice: Complete rest to finger Avoid movement that produce pain and aggravate the attack Injection of steroids foe faster and better relief Tablet ibuprfen or tramadol. Ice pad application If not responds to medicine you can do surgery
