Hi..my son is 1.4 yrs few days back he was having pain in urine while peeing.so i took him to the doctor he saw nd removes some white discharge from the penis den he said he is having balanopostitis nd he said it can b treated by antibiotics.nd i also asked him for retraction of foreskin he imediately said it needs to be circumcised.so my question is dat is it really needed at this age???

Refurrent balanoposthitis is an indication for circumcision and circumcision will be. the better option for this. Delaying the circumcision may lead to unwanted complications.
