Suggest Treatment For Painful,swollen Knee

I had total knee replacement of left knee in early March. I am in a lot of pain with knee being hot and swollen some days. The xrays are fine. My physiotherapist cannot find anything. What could it be? I think I have gum inflammation at the moment ( Rheumatoid arthritis ). Could this be related? Thank
