Suggest Treatment For Painless Ulcer On Roof Of Mouth

Hi, I have a small and painless ulcer on the top of my right side of my mouth, it doesnt hurt nor cause me any discomfort, i burnt it about a month ago and it blisterd bad and popped it hasnt grown any nor has it shrunk any. Ive chewed for a littlw over a year which has me kinda worried.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have painless ulcer on roof of mouth. Well there can be many reasons for ulcer in your mouth like canker sore , cold sore , inflammation of taste buds due to allergic reaction or irritation due to any acidic or spicy food , dental infection and ulcer due to acidic reflux. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid hot , spicy and acidic food , consult oral pathologist for proper diagnosis. You should go for biopsy of lesion as well to find out exact cause and can start treatment as per that. Apply dologel on these ulcers. Drink plenty of fluids. You should apply desi ghee on these ulcers as well. Maintain oral hygiene. Do rinses with antiseptic mouthwash. Take multivitamin tablets as well. Doctor may refer you to gastroenterologist .
