Suggest Treatment For Pancreatitis While On Oxycodone

Hi, I have been diagnosed with Pancreatitis four weeks ago. I am currently taking Oxycodone - 1 tablet every 6 hours. When I get a prescription to have filled, it seems to always have to be ordered . Never seem to have I stock. I go to Rite Aid or CVS. Is there another pain medication comparable for pain, that pharmacists usually have in stock ?...so I won t have to wait 4 days every time I need a prescription filled? This is very frustrating to wait four days and my pain level increases to where I become very irritated and cranky...to others, although I try not to.

You can take drugs like tramadol while suffering from pancreatitis. It is safe and does not worsen the pancreas.
