General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, associated low grade underlying depression may be part of sleep cycle disorder. Guidelines for better sleep pattern would be:
- Increase time devoted to meditation
- Deep breathing exercises
- YOGA
- Avoidance of smoking, alcohol if using
- Avoid stress and anxiety
- Addition of melatonin in drug basket
- Control of blood sugar, blood pressure
- Avoid obesity

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
