Hi,
I had gone through your question and understand your concern.

Short answer: Continue with the same treatment, good chances of getting your voice back.

Detailed answer:

Thank you for asking.

There are many reasons for vocal cord paralysis. For ex.
01) any head and neck trauma
02) vocal cord tumor
03) Parkinson disease
04) stroke
05) Viral infection etc

The recovery of your voice depends on what is the reason for the paralysis of vocal cords. If it is due to viral infection within 2 to 3 weeks you will be able to speak properly. Based on the treatment given by your ENT doctor, I am expecting it to be due to an infection. In this case, your chances of getting back voice are good.

I suggest you to continue with the same treatment and hope for the best.

If you have any further queries, you can contact me anytime. I'll be happy to help.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Prathap Kumar
