my mum has parkinsons and is constantly being told she has a urine infection. . .we know her kidneys are working ok because they checked them the other day. the funny thing is she hasn't got any noticeable symptoms. she is on a water tablet because her legs are prone to swelling.. . .she,s 68

Your mother seems to have asymptomatic urine infection or urinary tract infection.In asymptomatic patients no antibiotics are required except giving plenty of liquids.
