Suggest Treatment For Pea Sized Lump In The Elbow

I have a pea sized lump by my elbow that remained after some sort of infection in my elbow that was warm to touch and had some swelling that went 2-3 inches down my arm. Now all that is left is this pea sized lump that does not hurt and is just slightly pinkish/reddish in color.

Hi ! Good afternoon. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

Possibly, post infection there is fibrosis of the original pathology which at present has manifested as a lump. If I were your doctor, I would advise you not to fiddle with it or not to create friction over it to avoid recurrent infection. In case it increases or persists or creates any other problem, I would advise you for a surgical biopsy of the lump and further management would depend on the reports.
