Suggest Treatment For Pelvic Bone Pain After Injury In Child

As a child I slipped and fell on a metal covered auger. I hit on the pelvic bone area between my legs. The pain was intense for several minutes, and the area hurt for a few days after, but I had no other problems. Years later I was never able to orgasm during sex. Could I have suffered nerve damage that caused this problem? If so can I get a treatment to improve sexual function?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If you are able to attain good erection, there is no need to suspect nerve injury. Orgasm is a feeling that is processed in the brain. If there is problem with erection, kindly see your doctor for evaluation. Even then, the chance of nerve injury is less.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
