Hi,

Yes, it is advisable to seek medical advice straight away in such cases of penile bleeding. There could be several possible causes for penile bleeding, including trauma, infections, sexually transmitted diseases, or even cancer.

Visit a urologist for a thorough evaluation and they will perform a physical examination and tests such as blood tests, urine tests, or imaging studies like an ultrasound or CT scan. Depending on the underlying cause of the bleeding, treatment options may include medication, surgery, or other interventions.

Take measures to prevent any further trauma to the penis, including avoiding sexual activity until the cause of the bleeding has been identified and treated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
