Suggest Treatment For Periodic Itching On The Forearms

My wife is suffering from periodic itching on her left forearm that started after she got sunburn abt a mth ago. The itching sensation is under the skin. She has tried benadryl, gold bond with lidocaine, aloe and others with no results. Any idea what can be causing this below the skin itching?

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that it’s recommended for her to check her liver functions and serum IGE levels for proper evaluation because sunburn won’t cause prolonged itching

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
Dr. Bhanu Partap
