Suggest Treatment For Peripheral Neuropathy

My mother is aged 73 years old is suffering from peripheral neuropathy.She is a diabetic patient since 18 years.Presently she is suffering from diminished sensation of the soles as such she fears to walk on smooth surfaces lest she should loose her balance, hence she needs some support to walk. She is better on rough surfaces.She has a sensation of walking on fur or an air inflated bedding when she walks.Occasionally she suffers from burning sensation of the whole body.She is also hypertensive. Presently she is on continuous medication on Tab.likle Astymin forte, ossopan forte,tryptomer and for diabetes glynase MF.Whenever situation warrants her to walk long distances she takes a dose of Methyl Cobalamine injection.Is there any signs of improving from the present condition.Please suggest
