I am 49 and having period problems and for the past four days have experienced not a pain but a persistent abdonable ache which has disrupted my sleep, tonight I examined myself and realised a tampax was high up , I have removed it but must ad that others have been fitted and removed,I think it has been there four days ,it smelt strong,although cramps are easing a little I still feel discomfort,do you think I should seek medical help?.
