Suggest Treatment For Persistent Acne And Pimples On Face

Hello Doctor, I am Sumouli age 24. I am suffering from acne and pimple problems from so long. This time I consulted a doc who gave me isotroin10, HHAZI 500 and LYQLIFE XT , gels to apply, cetapil fash wash. I started my course from 10 days before but I am facing itching problems on my face. The skin has become dry, itchy. If I apply anything even the face wash, it started itching and become red. It is appearing as if a new skin to face is coming but it is damn painful. Can u suggest me something ? or shall I stop using the medicines ? Please guide me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, you may need to get it reviewed by a dermatologist to rule out any medicine-related side effects.

However, you may need oral Doxycycline for such resistant or infected acne and topical application of Doxycycline may also be needed along. Using vitamin C and E supplements along with micronutrients like zinc may be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
