Hi, Around one month back I had running stomach and it was real bad. Although I have recoverd well, but my anus has itching since then. Kindly help. I was suggested mometasone, which relieved me for some time, but it started again. Ps:- I used mometasone only for 2 days another doc suggested me not to use it.

hello,
i can understand your concer. kindly do not use mometasone. it is a steroid and can lead to skin thiinning.
your issue should go on its own in a few days as it looks more due to irritation.
if it still persits use smuth ointment(lignocaine). this will relieve your symptoms of itch.
if you observe any worms, get a consult as you would require an antiparasite like albendazole.

hope this helps. have a nice day
