Suggest Treatment For Persistent Anxiety, Fatigue And Vertigo
Hi I am 49 year old women. I got sick when I was 25, starting with vertigo. three years later after having my son I got migraines. over the years I experienced the following: Fatigue, anxiety, weakness, leg pain. I now been diagnosed with PLMD and I somehow feel all this stems from one thing. I have had many MRI that come clear all blood work shows nothing and ENT said my ears are not the problem. Ive been tested for food Allergies and been to Stanford for my Vertigo and Migraines. I have had the Maneuver to help the vertigo and it was unsuccessful. I have been living with this for 24 years go to any and everyone I can for help. But now I am so tired all the time out of breathe and I have nothing to give to do much during the day. The one good thing is my symptoms come in episodes. so other than the vertigo and migraines. I get break from everything else. An episode is usually any where from days to weeks. However in January I went down and the episode lasted for almost four months. during that time my blood pressure went to 187/117 and i was put on blood pressure meds. Every test I take comes back as if I was fine but I am so not fine. Ive been told its from the migraines or its from my depression. oh I have depression, being sick for 24 years Im thinking any one would be depressed. I am lost where or what to do.
• Vertigo is a symptom, rather than a condition itself and treatment depends on rught cause. You should see you GP if you have persistent signs of vertigo or it keeps coming back.
Causes of vertigo may include: benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, migraines – severe headaches, labyrinthitis – an inner ear infection. Medicines, such as prochlorperazine and some antihistamines, can help in the early stages or most cases of vertigo.
Also, we recommend: do simple exercises to correct your symptoms, sleep with your head slightly raised on two or more pillows, avoid bending down to pick up items, avoid extending your neck – for example, while reaching up to a high shelf.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
