Suggest Treatment For Persistent Back And Shoulder Pain

Last summer I had back and shoulder pain, I figured out that it was caused by overusing a massager, and because my bed was lumpy. So after the pain went away which took months, I got a new bed, and no problems. I know have a lot of pain in my hands and shoulders which I think it just being at computer working for hours (rsi maybe). My question is the pain worse, and does it last for so long because there might something else going like inflammation? I am overweight and not much exercise. thanks
