Suggest Treatment For Persistent Back Pain After Injury

I have had extreme thoracic back pain for the past 5 months. I was in a car accident and I sustained a spinal compression injury. My body was lunged upward into the ceiling of my car. I suffered a concussion for I month as well. My back pain won t go away.

Hello,

For short time relief you can use some painkillers (acetaminophen). For long-term relief you have these treatment options:

1. Physical therapy
2. Yoga
3. Chiropractor care

If above mentioned treatments are failed then you can have epidural steroid injections and anesthetic injections.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
