I have had back pain for several weeks (4) - upper middle and sometimes lower back. I never had back problems. The pain in the middle sort of upper can be very severe but it all comes and goes. I also have pain in you press on the upper middle part of my stomach. I addition I have hoarseness for past 3 weeks. ??
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent upper back pain that radiated towards middle. Well there can be many reasons for your symptoms like multiple sclerosis , fibromyalgia , trapezius spasm , shoulder problem , cardiac problem like angina , chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) , bronchitis and pericarditis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do light stretching exercises and apply warm compresses to affected area . Consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may ask you to do some movements to find out exact cause . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , multivitamin supplement along with antispasmodic ointment . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist or pulmonologist if he/she find problem to related with heart and lungs respectively .
