Suggest Treatment For Persistent Chest Pain

i went hiking yesterday to see waterfalls. After the first hike going 1 1/2 miles we went to another falls and climbed up a very steep hill and my chest hurt on both sides above my breasts. after we got to the top it quit and didnt hurt again until i went up another hill later that evening going down didnt bother it. i have had it happen a couple of times when i first start walking but usually doenst last long. I am a former smoker but have been quit for 6 years. Had a stress test a couple of months ago and no heart condition. I am 55 yr old female Any ideas what this could be

Looking at your History it can be Costochondritis, inflammation of rib cartilage and joints of bone and cartilage. It should reduce with NSAIDS.
You should be careful and get ECG done just to be doubly sure about heart condition
