Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough And Cold With Swollen Ankles

My mum has had a dry cough for 8 weeks now and hasn t been eating right, she is constantly cold and lately has developed swollen ankles. Around four weeks ago she went to the doctor and was told she had a urine infection, but said her lungs were clear of mucus so were not worried about the cough.

Persistent cough with swollen ankles give suspicion of uncontrolled hypertension and heart failure.You must consult a cardiologist to rule out cardiac invvement.
Get her tested for diabetes as well as urinary tract infection.
