Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough And Shooting Right-sided Pain In Head

I have had a cough for about 6 weeks, tried Mucinex, Tesselon Pearls, Robitussin, even Amoxicillin. Still coughing. Now on top of that I have the flu. For the past 24-26 hrs I have been having sharp shooting pains on the right side of my head. They re rather severe and come about every 20 seconds. Could it be a result of all of the coughing? Should I be very concerned?

HI
Well come to HCM
Ideally any cough symptom if this is more than couple of weeks then this need to be investigated for underlying cause, pain could be due to this is very likely and now this is the time to get done some test, as for example x-ray chest, blood test, and others, no need to treat this cough symptomatically, take care, and have a nice day.
