Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough In A Child

my son 7 years of age is suffering from acute cough 3 weeks ,was given augmentin duo for 6 days, bricarex for 10 days and nebulization using ipravent & budesal, after that he was given inhalers like budamate and sarbital but still has acute cough, what else can be done
