Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough While On Cordyceps
I have cough is about over 3 months, and doesn t comes a much phlems,now I use Solvent ( mouth spray ) to clear my lung, but something infection still there, maybe fungus or mold in my lung, I tried to use Cordyceps capsules, is Cordyceps would help to clear my lung?... What I must to do, I don t really like to use too much drugs. Thank you.

Hi,
Noted your history of persistent cough for 3 months, using solvent mouth spray and Cordyceps capsule.
Since the history if for a long duration I would advise you the following in such a situation:
It must be investigated in the following ways:
Minimum an X-ray of chest in 2 views followed by a CT scan with high resolution for the suspected shadows.
Bronchoscopy and lavage to be sent for lab for AFB of tuberculosis, for molds and fungus, cancer cells and so on. Also to get culture and sensitivity tests done.
Pulmonary function tests before and after bronchodilator medicine.
Tests of blood.
All these can be correlated with clinical evaluation by a Pulmonologist to get an exact diagnosis so that the management can be as per the findings.
