Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough With Thick Mucus

Hello, I have had this persistent cough with thick mucus for months and difficultly breathing, I keep getting told it s bronchitis, there has to be something else because it doesn t matter what I m treated with nothing works, inhalers, steroids, antibiotics, cough medicine. Am I just going to be sick for the rest of my life (I m 57)?

sputum for AFB should be done.consult pulmunologist for checkup. bronchodialater like tb deriphylin or bronchodyl should be taken other medication like antibiotic should be taken on doctors advise avoid steroid as far as posible.
