Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough

i m suffering from a cough from past 7 days where the cough does not cause any breathing or respiratory problem and is dry cough in nature with running nose sometimes at night.What remedy should I take?I tried the cough syrup Grillinctus but for no use to cough.

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you are having upper respiratory tract infection.
So try to follow these steps.
1. Avoid oily and spucy food.
2. Warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
3. Take azithromycin tablet 500 mg once daily for 5 days.
4. Take antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs for 5 days.
5. Drink plenty of fluids.
Try these steps, and you are not relieved after 5 days better to get done chest x ray.
