I have been taking coversyl 2.5 since october last year, and had an operation in late october. I have since been coughing a lot and find it difficult to control the cough, very irritating at night, lozenges help, but for only a very short time, can the bllod pressure medicine cause the cough thankyou

yes anti hypertensive belonging to ACE inhibitor group have side effect in form of dry persistant cough. you are on same medicine.go to your physician and get your antihypertive medicine changed if its bothering you much.
