Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough,blockage In Ear And Nose

Hello Doctor,I was down with viral fever a week before.. Along with heavy cough. I had lemsip(1000mg ginger honey flavour) and paracetamol.. 1000mg.. 3 times for abt 5 days.. As well 2 doses on 6th day. But still have persistent cough, today ear block, nose block and it is uncomfortable... Any medications that you could suggest for my ent problem.I have had ent trouble when I was younger living in chennai, I used to visit Dr. Mahendar during winter times.Thanks and regards, subbu

Hi,
It seems that you might be having upper respiratory tract infection mostly bacterial.
You might require one antibiotic medicine course for 3-5 days to get cure.
Take some decongestant medicine as well for 3 days.
Dovicks vapor inhalation.
Avoid fried and junk food.
Ok and take care.
