Suggest Treatment For Persistent Diarrhea, Lower Back Pain And Food Poisoning

I have food poisoning I was having diarrhea earlier in the day now that has stopped but my lower back is hurting. What should I do. I still have stomach cramps I ve been trying to drink more water and fluid. I m not very hungry. Can I take a pain pill?

Hi welcome to HCM...

You are having food poisoning and diarrhea ...
So by loss of fluid dehydration can be there and electrolyte imbalance also leading muscle cramps. ..

Here you have to maintain your hydration...
Take lots of water and fruit juice and ORS also ....

Avoid smoking , non veg food for few days .
Small meal taken with frequent interval...

Investigate with ....
-CBC
-stool examination
-widal test

If stool show pus cells ciprofloxacin like drug started ...for five days. ..
If showing egg of ameba metronidazole given.
If show other paraditic infection albendazole needed ...

Avoid excess spicy foods ...

Buscopan tablet can be taken for spasm...

You will improve in week...

If not than consult gastroenterologist ...
And USG also done ...
