Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You may be suffering from acute otitis media with tympanic membrane rupture.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid fluid entry into an ear canal. Use antibiotics and decongestants to relieve pain and to control Infection.

If no improvement then ear canal to be cleaned. Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Penchila Prasad Kandikattu , Internal Medicine Specialist
