Suggest Treatment For Persistent Fever And Cough

i have been coughing for almost week. I feel like I am running a fever but when I go check no fever When I am resting alot of times, my cough will rest a little bit. I have a runny nose, Its all different colors. sneezing Coughing phlem up- its clear or yellow.

It is more likely due to viral infection, this is the most common cause for these symptoms.

If the cough is persistent then this may indicate bronchitis which is infection/inflammation of the bronchi (one type of airways in the lungs).

You may want to consider a mucolytic to help break up the mucus in the chest so that it can come up easier . Eg mucomyst, bisolvan, guaifenesin

Fluids would also help with mucus secretion.

It can take 1 to 2 weeks for infection to resolve. In some cases, coughing can persist after the symptoms of infection resolve, this is called post viral cough.
