General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think he can also be tested for Lyme disease. It has many of the signs be is experiencing right now. He can do an ELISA test or western blot test.

The treatment consists of oral antibiotics such as Doxycycline or amoxicillin or Cefuroxime for 10 to 14 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
