Suggest Treatment For Persistent Fever And Presence Of Patches In Chest X-ray
Hello, * As per my clinical experience, persistent fever with patches in the chest x-ray may be indicative of pneumonia ( primary or secondary ). * As the oral medicines are not helping to great extent and the total WBC counts are not under control, in my clinic, I do recommend - intravenous antibiotics as penicillin with tazobactum or piperacillin with clavulanic acid - bronchi dilator as deriphyllin - glucocorticoids shots - deep breathing exercises - assisted chest physiotherapy - supportive therapy with cough formulations as Dextromethorphan, Codeine and Guianphecin - strictly avoid smoking ( active and passive ). Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
