Persistent high fever in an infant is suggestive of some infection. For treatment you can give him some antibiotic preferably moxikind-cv or zifi-cv after an expert advice along with syrup mefenemic acid or syrup ibugesic-plus for high grade fever as you are already doing. Do cold sponging to reduce the temperature of his body. Don't worry he will be fine.
