General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If you are unable to control your urine, then you are suffering from overactive bladder or mixed incontinence.

This can be diagnosed with URODYNAMIC STUDIES by a urologist and then accordingly treatment can be directed in form of medication or a urethral sling surgery for a possible stress urinary incontinence element along with overactive bladder.

A thorough exam needs to done before contemplating a plan. So it is suggested that you should meet your urologist for further opinion, advise and evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
