Suggest Treatment For Persistent Low Grade Fever

I am 47 years old. Never smoked,on drugs or alcohol. Always went to the bathroom regular. 8 months ago I got constipated over night. I have seen 2 doctors and they act like I m making it up. From time to time I run a low grade fever for two or three weeks. High on my right side causes me pain. They say It is not gall bladder. they not doing any thing about it. I have to take something every 4 or 5 days or I don t go at all?

Hi,

You need to be thoroughly investigated. Get a complete blood count and ESR with an ultrasound abdomen and work with your physician. It could be a parasitical infection also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
