Suggest Treatment For Persistent Migraine Headaches

I have had very serious migraines for two years now and I also have Meniere s Disease. One night ago, I had a series of migraines while trying to sleep like I have NEVER had before! My skull felt like it was being blasted off and a jet engine fired up at the same time in my head. I could move my arms and legs but could not open my eyes, so it wasn t sleep paralysis. This went on at least ten times in succession. I looked at the clock each time and know that I had been asleep for less than five minutes when this would happen. My neuro can not see me for two months. ANY thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to migraine.

I suggest using painkillers such as Ibuprofen.

If the symptoms continue I suggest visiting a neurologist for further evaluation and specific treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
