Suggest Treatment For Persistent Neck Pain

I have a kink in my neck that I ve had off and on for 2-3 months. I thought it was because of my cheap pillow, but even after I purchased an expensive one, my pain is no better. The pain runs from base of my head down my neck.....stopping at my shoulder. It hurts when I turn left or right. I do not have a full range of motion. I can turn each direction 45 degrees. Please advise
