Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain In The Elbow
I have had pain on the inside of my elbow for 3 months. I hurt it when I accidentally I shifted my weight in the car and leaned on a cell phone. There was instant pain as if something tore. I do not have limited range of motion. I can lift weights. It just hurts in in simple positions and angles.
Hello, I want to know one thing that are you having numbness and tingling over arm?There are many injuries due to fall on hand or elbow.it may be ligament sprain,muscle strain,elbow fracture ,tendinitis but firstly,we must to rule out the cause of pain with no range of motions restriction in your case.the exact cause only be rule out by x ray or MRI even then we can give you suggestions while the long time passed over after injury. You can take cold/heat therapy according to your tolerance or convience.take warm wet cloth and wrap it over your elbow joint and pour the warm water over it for 20 times.but dont exceed the time more than 20 mins to avoid skin burn.than apply any diclofenac gel to reduce the pain or inflammation.you can wear elbow support or brace. you can take ibuprofen or naproxen for the severe pain.you can take massage therapy and physiotherapy.keep rest your arm.if there is strain or sprain of muscles or ligament not fully healed the pain will not disappear until. If you are not getting relief get X ray and MRI to rule out the cause and for better treatment.
