Suggest Treatment For Persistent Rashes In The Groin Area

My son is 22 he has a rash in the groin area that has gotten worse. It started from a heat rash when he was on a mission in HoustonTexas. it goes away and then comes back. a Dr. gave him clotrimazole and Betamethasone cream. it worked good but needs more. anything he can do without going to dr.

Hi,

Mostly ,Your son suffering from fungal skin infection.

He was in mission, groin is moist area, preferable site for fungal infection.

I think with rashes there is itching also.

my openion :
1.Should to use proper dose of antifungal medicine.
2.Maintain hygine.
3.Rule out secondary bacterial infection.
3.using Steroid like betamethasone sometime need carefull observation.

consult with your dr for further management.
