Suggest Treatment For Persistent Rashes On The Chin
I have a rash on my chin, it was there for several months, I had to take a steroid shot and prednisone to get rid of poison ivy rash (total two different rashes). The steroids temporarily got rid of the rash on my chin but a couple of day after steroids were out of my system the rash came back with a vengeance. What is it?
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
I would encourage you to upload a picture of rash for better understanding and guidance, this rash seems to be allergic/ inflammatory in nature that's why it got better with steroid shot, I would suggest you to visit a dermatologist , in such cases I advise my similar patients to use hydrocortisone cream as local steroid because steroid shots are inconvenient plus they have side effects more than local.
You better visit a dermatologist to get a diagnosis and then appropriate treatment can be started
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you. Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
