Suggest Treatment For Persistent Sore Throat, Hoarse Voice And Pressure In Ears
I have a sore scratchy throat, hoarseness, some ear pressure that comes and goes. I saw my Dr. about 2 months back he couldn t see anything, he told me to take Benadryl. It helped some...it took care of my sinus issues I was having at that time. Warm beverages (tea) seems to offer me the most relief. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of this nagging situation?
Hi The symptoms you describe point to an upper respiratory tract infection. Most of these infections are caused by viruses but can also be of bacterial origin.Recurrence of your symptoms suggest a possible bacterial infecton. If i were your treating Doctor, i place you on a course of penicilline group of antibiotics for a week and steroidal antiinflammatory.I advise you discuss this with your Doctor and also, avoid cold, cold drinks and cold food. Best regards
