Suggest Treatment For Persistent Sore With Discharge On The Heel

My husband is in a skilled nursing facility. He developed and oozing sore on the heel of his foot. It was originally diagnosed as gram positive cocci. After the second culture, they said it was morganella. He has been treated since March 23 with Bactrim and now is on clyndamicine. There has been no change in the foot. He has a history of MRSA infections and has had two toes amputated as a result of one of the MRSA infections. I am concerned that there has been no change in the wound to date.

Hi,
From history it seems that he might be having,
1, diabetic foot or,
2 trophic ulcer of neurogenic origin.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
Ok and take care.
