Suggest Treatment For Persistent Stomach Pain And Chills

My husband started complaining of stomach pain a few days ago. He hasnt had much of an appetite. Tonight he was laying down getting ready to go to sleep when he was hit with painful muscle cramps then the chills started. Any ideas on what could be going on would be very appreciated. :)
