Suggest Treatment For Persistent Stomach Pain

I have been having a problem with my stomach hurting off and on for years and my regular Dr was never able to fin anything wrong. It's been hurting more often since I had my youngest child 2-3x per week now. I can't explain how it hurts it just hurts. Right under my ribs above my belly button. It gets worse when I eat. Can you please tell me something?

Hello welcome to HCM, and thanks for asking a query from HCM

I can understand your problem. You have problem of pain in stomach and the pain is occurring in epigastric region. The pain is persistent and is remaining 2-3 times a week and its just like as if its hurting. Such type of pain can occur due to a number of possibilities and proper evaluation should be done.

First of all visit a physician for evaluation. An ultrasonography can help to find out any organic cause. As the pain in dull and is occurring in epigastric region so this could be due to hyperacidity, gastric ulcer, irritable bowel syndrome etc causes. You have been to doctors and nothing wrong was found then most likely possibility for such pain is irritable bowel syndrome.

Medicines like Clinidium Brominde with Chlordiazepoxide combination can be used for such dull pain. To some extent stress has relation with such pain and this combination helps to relieve stress and thus will provide the relief from pain. Antacids like Ranitidine, Omeprazole should also be used along with these drugs and will supplement the actions. Visit a doctor for prescription of the drugs.

Thanks, Takecare
