Suggest Treatment For Persistent Vaginal Itching

I visited a doctor on 9/23 with concerns of vaginal itching. It started more in the vulva and started becoming tender near the urethra. I had a full pelvic exam and the nurse called it as a UTI. I was started on antibiotics. 2 days later, the itching is still very bad and my body has started to pass fleshy looking clots. My vagina starts to clench and then these clots come out. I started an IUD in early July so I m not sure of when my period would be, but these clots are new to me and scaring me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Clots are the vaginal discharge clearing up the infection from your uro-genital tract.

I want to have a look at the lab results to see the type of infection that was diagnosed.

Plus, vaginal swab testing is required to rule out yeast infection of your genitalia, and treat it adequately.

Discuss this with your caring doctor.
Take probiotics to stabilize the flora. Plus, take plenty of water to help clearing up infection.

Wish fast recovery.
